Story Hour is a one-hour, interactive activity for families and young children ages 0-5. DCI staff and volunteers read stories aloud, sing songs, and lead arts and crafts projects to promote reading and early literacy. Our Friday Story Hour meets once every 2 weeks. Saturday Story Hour meets once a month. All sessions are bilingual (English and Spanish) and meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at DCI. 

Volunteer activities include: reading aloud in English and Spanish; facilitating craft projects; assisting with songs and snacks.
