Daiba Tozay
Special Projects Director
Daiba Tozay is the Special Project Directors for Durham Children’s Initiative (DCI). She’s responsible for the implementation of the Durham County Guarantee Income project.
Daiba comes with more than 23 years of experience working for local, national, and international non-profit organizations in and out of the United States. Daiba earned a Bachelor from North Carolina State University, an MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, and ABD (all but dissertation) PhD in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University.
Daiba Tozay is originally from Liberia, West Africa. Her favorite authors are James Baldwin and Claude Brown. She practices self-care by expressing gratitude, praying, reflecting, treating herself to something she’s always wanted, and focusing on positivity.
