Dr. Michael Seaman helps others realize their desired future. He has over two decades of leadership experience as a social entrepreneur, a business leader, a community developer, a professor, and an author.

He is currently co-founder of Emberbloom where he leverages his experience to empower leaders and build healthy organizations. As DCI’s new interim CEO, he brings experience as an entrepreneurial founder of two nonprofits, an executive leader, and a community leader. Michael has a collaborative coaching style that seeks to uncover and ignite a person’s or an organization’s assets rather than focus on deficits. Acknowledging deficits is important, but capitalizing on the bright spots is the key to bringing awareness to the blind spots in order to bring about effective transformation and multiplication.

Michael is published in 4 distinct fields—international business, inner-city sustainability, spirituality, and social issues. He has a BS in Business Administration focused on Marketing, an MDiv in Advanced Biblical Studies, and a PhD in Theology. In addition to raising his own teenagers, Michael serves as a youth mentor and serves in underprivileged communities both locally and globally. His heart is to help others discover what they have been given in order to empower them to make an impact in their community.
