Jalysia began her role as a Family Advocate at DCI in 2022. Previous to her role at DCI, Jalysia worked for Wake County Public Schools System as an Instructional Assistant. Now, Jalysia serves as a Youth Coach and shares her true passion for working with children of all ages. Jalysia is a very proud Alumna of North Carolina Central University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Social Work.   

Spending quality time with family and friends is something that Jalysia enjoys to do! Seeing children learn, excel, grow, and smile brings her much joy and fulfillment!
